Wind measurement with the latest generation of wind measuring masts
Next generation wind measurement. The PSA-Check Poelmann Group has taken over the entire wind measuring mast division of airwerk GmbH and continues to do so under Windcheck-Poelmann. Our portfolio offers the entire range of services of the wind measuring masts and wind measurement and with optimization and know-how of more than a decade of experience.
At eye level with the wind We produce our measuring masts in cooperation with innovative structural engineers and high-performance steelworkers. Particular attention is paid to an economical solution, i. H. we carry out measurements at high altitudes with little use of materials and can therefore reduce the costs of the measurement campaign. We also keep the costs of the foundation low by generally using foundation plates and rope anchors made of steel. The mast concept takes into account erection using an electric-hydraulic climbing crane that grows with the mast. Therefore, we do not need any space or path for cranes for the installation. Even remote locations can be measured with our measuring system. In addition, the ability to climb the masts is taken into account when planning. This simplifies the installation, maintenance and replacement of the sensors and saves you money and time. Our lattice masts consist of particularly slim elements with brackets that comply with the IEC guidelines. Nothing stands in the way of reliable and precise wind measurement.
Onshore wind measuring mast
Investment decisions are based on solid data. Especially those who build wind turbines with considerable hub heights must know the wind situation. Our onshore wind measuring masts provide precise wind data - the basis for your success.

With this strategy in mind, our mast concept uses a climbing crane system. This means that you save the costs of preparing roads and the space required for building with cranes. Therefore, this concept is ideal for measurements in remote regions such as in forests and in the mountains. In addition, our mast structure is the result of a design optimization process: The triangular cross-section and three-sided anchor lines have been optimized to achieve a space-saving wire radius (max. 90 m for a 140 m mast). The result: a cost-effective wind measurement system that delivers high-quality measurement data and, at the same time, guarantees reliable data availability. Functions: Mountable mast - for easy mast installation and cost-effective maintenance Set-up / dismantling with climbing cranes ideal for remote locations (forest, mountains) Best mast design Slim mast profile with standards-compliant brackets - minimal impact on wind flow Economical Cost-effective mast foundation with steel anchor plates: for floors with normal ones Carrying properties no need for concrete Optimized wire lengths - less space required means lower leasing costs Calibration and installation of measuring devices according to MEASNET - professional calibration of the data logger for measurements according to IEC 61400 Management of the measurement campaign ensures high data availability Support during the building permit procedure - including submission of static analyzes for mast and technical drawings , Creation of the static analysis for the foundation, concepts for day / night marking systems to identify the mast as an aviation obstacle according to NFL I 143/07
