Construction of wind measuring mast

The construction of a wind measuring mast is complex - we have the know-how and more than a decade of experience.

Investments need a solid foundation and results. Anyone planning investments or building systems with very large hub heights wants to know where the wind is blowing from. Our wind measuring masts provide precise data - the basis of your success.

Wind measurement is a very important factor for wind energy. Necessary conclusions for the future can only be drawn from an exact wind measurement. That is why we are at your side with our all-round carefree package.

Wind Check Poelmann is at your side as a competent partner and takes on all the necessary tasks when setting up a wind measuring mast.

+ Measuring the center point
+ Measuring the anchors
+ Foundation work
+ Floor work / inserting the ground anchor
+ Organization Transport / delivery Wind measuring mast to the location
+ Construction of wind measuring mast

Our wind measuring masts enable:

+ Use inland, mountain ridges, deserts and on the coast
+ Top performance at measuring heights of over 160 m
+ ice and wind load combinations according to DIN / DIBt / IEC
+ design and Wind measurements according to IEC 61400-12 and MEASNET

Our strategy is very simple: maximize performance, minimize costs. That is why our mast concept provides a climbing crane system that saves you a lot, such as the footprint and paths for cranes. Therefore, this concept enables measurements in remote regions such as forests and mountains. The design is also well thought out: the mast system consisting of a triangular cross-section and three-sided bracing has been optimized in such a way that space-saving guy radii result (max. 90 m with a 140 m high mast). The result: an inexpensive wind measurement system that still delivers high data quality and availability.

+ Mountable mast - for easy installation and inexpensive maintenance
+ Construction by climbing crane opens up remote locations (forest, mountains)
+ Slim mast profile with standard-compliant booms - little influence on wind flow
+ Cost-effective foundations are made using steel floor slabs: no use of concrete in normal load-bearing floors
+ Optimal guy lengths - less space and lease costs
+ Calibration and installation of the measuring technology according to MEASNET
+ Professional configuration of the data logger for measurement according to IEC 61400
+ Supervision of the measurement campaign ensures high data availability
+ Accompanying the approval process - including submitting the mast statics and technical drawings
+ Creation of the foundation statics
+ Concepts for day and night marking as an aviation obstacle according to NFL I 143/07 features
